In today's world, celebrities are people that are looked upon as superior. Although this is true, it is often seen that their mental health is ignored by the general public. Regardless of their social status, they are still human beings with emotions who are put under a lot of stress. Artists like Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, and Kanye West have been public with their mental health struggles, people choosing to ignore them. As justification for these feelings, people say: ''They're rich and famous, why would they be unhappy?'' This stigma is extremely damaging, especially when these people have a huge spotlight on them at all times. This issue not being talked about could lead to very serious levels where celebrities do not get the help they may need, risking the build-up of unhealthy habits.

Summarize- In this article, the author gives examples of different celebrities who have struggled with different mental health issues/disorders. It preaches that a lot of them have stayed silent about their problems, but the ones who have spoken out are talked about as weak or ''not real''. A lot of artists have had to postpone tours or stop having regularly public appearances because of this stigma.

Assess- This source is useful because it gives many examples of the experiences celebrities have gone through. It helps readers relate to these people and empathize for them. The goal of this article was to push the idea that speaking out publicly and getting help can be beneficial.

Reflection- When people can sympathize or relate to something, they tend to care more about the topic. In hearing that these people who live such glamorous lives from afar may have the same struggles as us, it brings us comfort. It gives so many different examples from actors to singers to directors, showing anyone can have mental health issues.

Summarize- The author discusses the topic of celebrity influence, explaining how impactful they may have on the public. Their decisions and behavior are magnified compared to ours, making it important to focus on their mental health.

Assess- This source does a good job of explaining the issue at hand and providing evidence from researchers to support the idea. Bringing up a point of how celebrities are seen as role models in TV, music, etc. People often use them to make choices based on cinematic or musical influence.

Reflection- Although this source does give information about influence, it does not use a lot of data to support the examples of celebrities used. It explains that they struggle, but isn't specific enough.

If people continue to stay indifferent about this issue, there are many different risks. Given the fact that people follow celebrities' examples and change to agree with their opinions, seeing them damaged mentally may expand the problem of mental health. People tend to subconsciously alter their normal to be more like the celebrity. To solve this, I think that there should be resources where they can get help and support. At the first sign of distress, they should be able to talk to someone rather than it being too late. Instead of being shamed, there should be specific people who are personal therapists to everyone who may need the help.

Summarize- Throughout this article, there are many different reasons given to why celebrities should speak out about their mental health, using examples like Kurt Cobain and Billie Eilish.

Assess- This source was beneficial to support the topic because it has detailed, multiple examples of famous people who struggle. It gives the idea that social media can be very toxic, reflecting an image that people have ''perfect lives'' when they are struggling too.

Reflection- I think this source is really helpful, especially because it brings social media as an aspect in the argument. While it brings up the toxicity of social media, it also discusses the positives, giving others a sense of belonging and a place to share thoughts.
