Project Description: To bring in artists/musicians from various cultures to teach elementary children about their culture and language. Guests may include… West-African Drummers, Diwali Rangoli artists from India, and costume/parade float designers for the Brazilian Carnival Celebration.

Application Process:
Develop a project proposal. In no more than 2,000 words describe:
the need for the project, including degree of impact;
project objectives and how they are consistent with those of the grant program;
 a plan to meet project objectives that includes specific activities, a timeline for their accomplishment, the person(s) responsible for executing the plan, and a description of what will happen to the project once ASHA funding has ended;
a means for evaluating this project including meeting stated objectives, quantifiable outcomes, and impact; as well as a client/patient/consumer feedback component, if appropriate; and a plan for dissemination, including how others-individuals, programs, associations or organizations-will access, be informed of, benefit from, replicate, etc. the project results.
Complete the Budget Form that includes the amount of and justification for requested funds.
Obtain one letter of endorsement of the project. The letter should come from someone who can attest to the project director's capability in completing the project.
Submit the application packet.

Project Description: Supports programs in arts, community, education, environment, healthcare, and peace. The goal of this project would be sponsor programs that would promote the arts within the community. These programs will be held in the evenings at the local elementary school and will be open to the public. Recent awards include music lessons for people with disabilities, children’s theater, learning center, writing education, after-school and summer activities, literacy programs, arts education, and services for at-risk children and youth.

Project Description - For all students -  Giving first-hand experience and taking students, that do not have an opportunity to leave their neighborhood or city, to a historical Civil War, War of 1812 or Revolutionary War battelfields or museum or related sites.
The Civil War Trust strongly believes that battlefields are outdoor classrooms — truly unique locations for education, commemoration, and contemplation. The Civil War Trust's Field Trip Fund provides funding and assistance to K-12 teachers, who are planning field trips to Civil War, War of 1812, or Revolutionary War battlefields or related historic sites.
 
Application Process - No deadline - apply anytime for pre-selected sites and museums for a planned field trip to named sites for pre-approval.   One page document describing school climate, students, cultural demographics, an explanation of why you need the grant and shipping address.   Required to receive your reimbursement, you must submit a reimbursement form, receipts, a 30 thirty second thank you video, at least seven (7) rights-free photos of your trip, and at least five (5) thank you notes from your students within five business days after your field trip. 
Simple one page application and reason and school financial information and reward/acceptance is granted within two weeks.  Reimbursement of the trip, if all requirements and receipts are provided, is within 14 business days.

Project Description: The purpose of the grant is to foster support of multi-language development in the teaching of mathematics as it provides financial assistance for in-service trainings.  This project proposes that teachers work one-on-one with a consultant to address the development of classroom materials so they are appropriate for ELL.  The consultant will be an expert in both language and math instruction, as required in the grant’s guidelines.

Mathematics content
Scope of the plan
Other contributing costs of funding
Number of teachers and students impacted
Distribution of costs
Data regarding demographic, access to professional development, and multi-ethnic student body’s academic performance

In addition, the applying school must have either:
At least one current (on or before October 13) Full Individual Member of NCTM
Or teach at a school with a current (on or before) NCTM Pre-K-8 school membership.

Proposal Guidelines;
 2017-2018 MET-TODOS Proposal Cover Form must be completed and serve as the top page of each copy of the proposal
The proposal must be typewritten, double-spaced and single-sided, with margins of at least one inch on 8.5" x 11" paper
 Font size must be no smaller than 12-point Times Roman and the width between characters should be normal (100%).
The proposal is to be submitted electronically to met-todosgrant@todos-math.orgby 11:59PM PST on November 30, 2017.
No mailed or faxed copies will be accepted.  Duplicate or revised applications will not be considered.
