This texts describes someone who "would gather immortal palms must not be hindered by the name of goodness, but must explore if it be goodness." This is exactly what Rapunzel did. She saw lights floating in the sky every year on her birthday, and rather than solely admiring them from her tower, she escaped and explored the outer world she had not yet seen before, to see for herself if they were everything she dreamed of. She had a dream, and sought it out. She was a dreamer. The song lyrics talk about how even when everything in this world is dark and gloomy, and nothing seems to be going right, there is still a consistent source of joy, peace, and hope. This source of joy, peace, and hope is Jesus. "I smile, even thought I hurt see I smile, even though I've been here for a while, I smile," the song confidently proclaims. Kirk Franklin describes how we must trust and have faith that our God is working things out, even when it looks like it doesn't. That joy, peace, and hope can not be found looking at what's right in front of us. He was told to build a giant ark and put him, his family, and a male and female of every kind of animal on the ark. The problem was that it was sunny, dry, and hadn't rained in what felt like forever. However, Noah followed what the Lord had told him, and saved his family and the animals from the flood.
