The Federalists introduces a series of acts that were unconstitutional in the sense that they were against free speech and were in an effort to prevent war. The Alien Act would make it take longer to become a US citizen and would allow the Federal Government the ability to deport immigrants that could be a treat to the gov. The Sedition act made it illegal to write or say anything negative about the Government. It was a clear violation of the first amendment and many newspaper editors were arrested.
