In this photo the predominant shapes of this image are the rectangles and squares of the shops. most of the images in this photo are man made things instead of natural things. Also the thing that stand out is the man in the shop and the boy reflecting into the back ground of the window. I think his image was taken in the late 70's and early 80's. This image looks like it was taken in New York this is because the shops in the back ground looks like american shops.

There's a lot of artificial shapes inside of this photograph as it looks like its been taken in the city.

I think the image could've been taken from the 1980's to even somewhere in the 2000's. The building and shop look recent and the features that are present in this photograph look more modern than ancient.

I think that the subject in this photograph is the man who is dressed smartly as he boldly stands out against the sable background.

The rectangles are the predominant shapes in the image. They are all man made and there are not many natural things in the photo. The man also stands out in the image because he can be classed as the subject in this image. He also stands out because he is close to the window and he is wearing a white shirt that makes him stand out even more. The child in the photo doesn't stand out because he is wearing black and he isn't as big as the man.
I think this image was taken in the early late 80's to the early 90's. I think this because the picture was taken in black and white. I also think this image was taken in New York because of the Cola bottles in the window.
The main subject in the photo is the man in the white shirt because he stands out in the photo. He stands out because there is a dark background and he is wearing the white shirt which is light.

The predominant shapes in this image is rectangles and other blocky, man made shapes like the shop fronts. I think this image is possibly 20 years old, maybe older as it seems to have quite an old setting. The main subject seems to be the man as he is looking at the camera and has a body that stands out due to colour and posture.
The image has been outside the ice cream shop window as the stickers on the window show and the buildings behind are reflected. The man and child are in the building and the photographer is square on to the window.. The reflection in the image does add depth to the image, but it is not much. I am inclined to look at different areas of the image as there are many different shapes and a high contrast. It is all black and white as well. I find this image very interesting as the more you look at it the more you notice, like the american flag in the childs hands and the flowers behind the coke sign.

The predominant shapes in this image are the harsh, white shapes because they stand out a lot against the darker background- there's a big contrast. Another predominant figure is the man, he seems like the subject of the photo and hes also wearing a white shirt which makes him stand out, hes also looking directly at the camera whereas the little boy next to him is almost like a ghost in the background.
I think this image is quite old due to the old fashioned fonts and shops in the reflection. The black and white font also makes the image look older and adds to that effect.

Unlike the boy standing next to him, who just blends in with the rest of the image; almost like a ghost.
I think this image is quite old due to it being taken in an old fashioned cafe/restaurant in which you can see this throughout the image from all the old fonts and pictures used.

The predominant shapes in this image are the rectangular images in the window. I would say this image is quite an old image because of the things that the man and the young boy are wearing. Another thing that i would suggest that shows its an old image is the type of writing reflecting onto the shop window. One of the things that draws my attention to this image would be the reflection onto the window, with it being so full and there being signs everywhere it draws me in. There is some sort of rhythm in this image and its the cola bottles. One thing the photographer has done is manage to take the image without catching his reflection in the window pane. In this image the little boy is standing on a chair and he is looking at something that is going on behind the window, from what can gather there is either a protest or some sort of march going on because there are a lot of people.

Throughout the image there is a variety of predominant shapes which adequately link the photograph together; the main shapes are the rectangles and square that are very common designs to include. As i review the image, i am assured that it was captured within the 1970's as the photograph is uncolored (black and white), also the buildings and the clothing worn by the subjects appear dated to that period of time. Due to the position of the waiter he is the main subject as he covers most of the image. In the background, there is an element of composition as the signs on the buildings follow across the top line of the third. Despite the photographer not being visible there is a large depth of field as the buildings across the street are clear.

I think this image is old because you can tell by the poster in the bottom right hand corner. if i had to say what my eyes looked at first it would be the man standing in the white shirt this stands out because the picture is dark and the white shirt is bright and eye catching this is called contrast. The thing the interested me the most about this image would defiantly be the refection of the people walking by.

The predominant shape in this image to me is the man in the white shirt in the window. This is what caught my eye first. I think the image is old and could have been taken around the early 80's as the clothing the people are wearing is similar to that time. They are dressed smartly and the actual photo itself is black and white. The main subject in this image i would say is the man in the white shirt as this is what i noticed first. He is looking out of the window. The man is on the left third and the shops on the reflection of the glass are all on a straight line in the middle of the photo. The depth in this photo i think is coming from the reflection off the window. This creates a good effect and does make you look twice. I really like the advert in the bottom right corner, this could be distracting as it did draw me to it. The whole photo is black and white so the white really does stand out, there is no other colours to look at but you could imagine what they might be. I find the boy in the photo interesting becuase he is stood on a chair holding an american flag, it makes me think what is going on.

I think that the predominant shapes in this image are squares and rectangle for the signs and shop names reflecting. The main subject in this image is the man to the left and the sign in the bottom right this is because they are wearing white and white stands out in black and white photographs. I think this photo was taken in the early 1970's, i think this because the photograph was taken in black and white also by the way the people are dressed in the photo. The rhythm in this photo i would say is the bottles at the bottom. I think the most interesting part of this image is looking at how people were before and how they are now.

The most predominant shapes in the photo are the man and the schoolboy with them being the first things you look at in the image. i believe that the photo was taken in between the years of 1970 and the 2000's with the building looking quite new however the clothing of the people in the image is not quite that modern the main subject in the image could be a number of things such as the people, the bottles or even the reflections. The photographer has use the rue of thirds to make the composition of the image so good and the soda bottles are line up in just that way. There is quite a lot of depth to the image with lots of layers with the image being taken outside. I personally am inclined to look at all of the image because the more you look at the image the more you end up seeing. the image is taken in black and white but you do get the different shades of grey which adds personality to the photo. I find that the most interesting part of the image is the old sign that add more personality to the photo.

the man in the white shirt stands out the most because the way it is reflecting from behind him
i think the image is taken in the late 1970 as the image is in black and white and the fact the man is wearing a shirt and bow tie is what they would were in the 1970.
I think this image is quite old due to it being taken in an old fashioned cafe in which you can see this throughout the image from all the old fonts and pictures used.

The predominant shapes in this photo are the squares and rectangles reflected inside the window.
I believe the photo is from the 1960s, this due to the bowties and the way things are advertised.
I think the main subject is the two people inside the window, the way they are posed brings them out and the colours of their shirts also contrasting to the signs.
They are posed in the line of thirds, this is why the people are brought out. they are in the lines. There is depth to the photo due to the reflections, its effective how lee didn't get in the reflections.

The predominant shape in this image, I believe are the signs in the bottom right hand corner of this photograph. This really stands out, because of the reflections from the outside of the diner are quite faded and the signs are the only predominant shape that really stands out in the window. In this image, there is also a rhythm in this photograph. This is shown in the foreground of the image where all of the coke bottles are lined up in a row, this gives and effect to the image, because all of the image is busy and that is why the rhythm stands out because that is the only clean thing in there. I believe that this image is based in the 1950's- 1960's because of the way the waiter is dressed in the diner, and because of the coca-cola advert in the window. I believe that the main subject in this photograph is the waiter in the diner window because of the colour of his shirt is white, and it really stands out against the black and white background.

The predominant shapes in this image are rectangles which are mostly just reflections.

I think this image is probably from the 60's. The waiters are wearing a bow tie, the younger boy is holding an american flag, and overall the shops look a lot older than they do today. Plus you never really see any coca-cola bottles nowadays, just cans and large plastic bottles.

The main suspect in this image to me is the waiter in the window and the coca-cola advertisement.

This is a very interesting photo which proves the more you look at it, the more detail you withdraw from it. Its like a big mind trick, you have to decide weather the details just a reflection or weather it really is inside of the diner. This is always quite a deep image, as you can see one side of the street to the other in just a single reflection. It is also an image i like looking all over instead of just focusing on one part because there's so much to look at its really hard to focus on one part.

The predominant shapes in this image are the white squares, they take your attention because they are bold, white, straight and they repeat. I think the subject of the photo is the man behind the window. The contrast is common and high, this is because the image is bold black and white, however the picture has too much to look at because of the reflection of the busy street. The photographer has done well to hide, he is hidden because he is in front of the boy and the colors blend to make the photographer look as if hes not there.
