Building a common language was transformative for grading consistency and student understanding of expectations. I believe this has allowed teachers to have a better understanding of grade-level expectations as well.

I recommend quarterly check-ins, so our next one would be before Winter Break.

I'm looking forward to teaching my students these levels of questioning. I think it can only help them with their content and learning. I appreciated having the opportunity to vertically align it with the other GATE teachers.

I agree with Kaitlyn about quarterly assessments.

I think students being able to deepen their understanding by recognizing critical thinking fosters individual growth and promotes inquiry-based learning.

Quarterly assessments seem appropriate.

I love that we are all going to be working on teaching questioning. I am excited to see how far my students can come in learning even the difference between a story and a question!

I think quarterly check-ins will work well for kinder. I plan to do some checklist style with a few videos for evidence.

Focusing on this for CLC allowed me to refocus on Costa's Levels of Thinking and apply it to all content areas.

I agree with other staff that quarterly seems to be appropriate for assessing.
