They operate under the simple principle that animals are not ours to eat, wear, experiment on, or use for entertainment. PETA focuses its attention mainly on four areas which the largest amount of animals suffer intensely for a long period of time. This normally happens in these areas, factory farms, laboratories, in the fur trade, and in the entertainment industry. But not only does it focus on that, the community also helps with other issues. Issues like, cruel killing of beavers, birds, and other "pests," and abuse of backyard dogs.
