Notes on Context and Overall Message in the Piece: This piece is all about self-reflection. Each piece/character/line has some kinda significance. My overall Favorite focal point atm is the Purple-Haired character and Orange-haired fire girl. (Purple) She looks absently outward aware of how she perceived but struggling to grasp the concept. (orange) looks over her shoulder fully aware of her situation, anger fills within her giving her an orange hazy glow that works as protection from the outside. Guilt flashes across her eyes as she withdraws. A smaller aspect of this drawing would be my orange shirt girl. I experimented with pastels to show the contrasting colors of the mushrooms and the background.

I emphasized the shadows and made the bottom of the piece much darker than the top of the piece to make the mushrooms stand out. notes on style- i wanted to make a styleized picture that purpoulsly has overstylized features in the face to make it look more "disturbing" and inhuman. also later on i will be using the glitch affect on the hands and also on the legs to make a subtle hint to self harm scars.
