I feel that I do too much of frontal teaching. in one lesson I decided to have he students review for the test in pairs instead of reviewing as a whole class. they had the topics for the test and I gave the opportunity to go over what was more important for them while I was in class. I think that group work is amazing and I need to find ways to imply it more in classes

I have 10 students in my class. In Dersim, I first draw attention to the interesting conclusions from the greed events. I draw sample drawings around them by applying them around. then I will comment on their work. at the end of the lesson

Some months ago I made a lesson with students from two differents school order, I decided to make a lesson by mixing a classical frontal blackboard lesson and the help of tablets. I saw that is not easy to link the topics between two differents kinds of students, and the number of students has not to be too much large to monitoring an experimentation.

My example is the recently organized volunteer activity - painting and decorating the classroom. The biggest mistake was a good bad assignment of tasks. There was a need to specify the job and tasks for each volunteer. So it turned out pretty chaotic - one worked and the other did not. I have learned that it is necessary to elaborate every step and to anticipate some situations because the mere good planning activity is more difficult to accomplish. In the end, we were new, but we learned about our own mistakes.

Where I teach there are learners who, with their exuberance and vivacity, make sure to disturb the lesson. Most of the time they prevent a regular lesson from being held, but the real problem is that they prevent others from carrying out every single activity.

I have one student who never follows rules and orders. In the beginning, I often discussed with him in front of the class instead of teaching. That was exhausting for me. I have also problems with the volume in my classes sometimes. I have no effective strategy yet to get this under control...

There is no time in my class management that I failed. However, I am worried about the hyperactive students and the students with low mental level in the new entry class. I will also attend classes using special teaching materials. Give them a special time. While I am interested in them, I will make sure that the other students are also checked.

When teaching at one of my 2nd classes, i experienced that i did not have enough experience toward class management. So i disappointed and not decided what to deal with it. İndeed, i thought this job was not a right one for a while. But within time, although experinced many events , i managed to provide class management with enjoyable activity and listening to my students' desires and their expectations during lesson. So i dont bore them in class, iwe watch english videos related to our topic and listen more. Moreover,they prepare paper projects to be hanged on english board. So fulling the students' needs and expectations are vital to provide a class management.

Especially in the beginning, I was happy when the class was more or less quiet. I thought I can teach (explain something) although few kids were talking. Now, I know, I have to insist on everybody being quiet, otherwise only few kids are able to pay attention and other kids join to the speaking part of the class.

I used to be terrified of trying to make a classroom silent. Then, I learnt never to underestimate the power of silence. If they talk to each other, I just stand there silently and wait :) The other thing I'm afraid of is that I wouldn't have enough activities for the lesson and suddenly there would be nothing to do, which is why I always overplan the lesson. It's better to have more activities prepared than lack them! :)

My concerns are dealing with students with special needs (ex. ADHD, autism,...).
If the lesson is well prepared and include different activities there won't be problems with management. When students do in teams - collaboration it is very important to precisely organize every step in order to keep everyone busy and responsible for their part of work.

In my class I give my students a kind of freedom, but sometimes it becomes a lot of noise and movement in the classroom so I create virtual groups and I share with my students the link and they use computers to access these groups and do these activities they work in groups of two or three students, and each time I give them a new tool to attract their attention and to motivate them, I also try to participate with my students in global events to make them global citizens

I've taught 11 years in high schools and there I have already experienced to manage the classrooms with various strategies and tools and created the right balance of being a teacher and a friend with teens but I've been teaching in a secondary school ,from 5th grade to 8th grade, for 1 year but I still could not find the right way to go down to their levels both academically and morally,espacially 5th grades:-) I generally find myself or too serious for the children or too comic like an actor to take their attention. But anyway I love them .They make me surprised many times and I find myself smiling with their unexpected and interesting questions:-)

The classroom management gets better with time, when you know your students better. Once you know them you can defferentiate your teaching. I noticed as well that you need different startegies for morning classes and afternoon classes, when your students are tired and is more difficult to grab their attention

I like to discuss topics related to the subject matter with my students, and from what I can see, they also like it a lot, especially when it gives them the opportunity to talk about some of their opinions and experiences (related to the subject). But it sometimes gets a bit chaotic because they sometimes start talking all at once and it is not always easy to manage them. I've noticed that dividing them into groups helps, so they can discuss in the group (based on the questions I give them), and then one person per group tells everybody what are the group's conclusions.

La cosa che mi preoccupa quando devo presentare un argomento nuovo alla classe, é il clima che si può creare .Vorrei che i bambini non si annoiassero e mi seguissero con interesse. Non mi piace vedere bambini che si appoggiano sul banco, che ridono, o tanto meno che sbadigliano, perché vedere questo, mi fa capire che non sono arrivata a loro, non sono riuscita a coinvolgerli e a farmi capire. Per questo prima di ogni nuova attività da presentare faccio una ricerca approfondita per trovare strategie anche di "gioco" che possano coinvolgerli ed entusiasmarli

1) A second-grader who hit another kid and grabged his pens. From this experience I learned that I don´t need to yell. In subsequent lessons, I talked to the child in low voice while the others where completing a task. The child has a dysfunctional family that influences his bad behavior, I´ve tried to contact his parents but only the grandfather has told me about family problems. So I talked to the school counselor to set an appointment with them.2) My main concern is always disruption in the classroom, especially with elementary school. For this reason, I think it´s important to pursuit and take advantage of the kind of training you are offering now. To have networks and share experiences with peers and mentors is crucial to be a good teacher !

I've had problems with the dynamics of my class because they were interesting and fun but I've realised that kids need to know the structure of the class to be calm. When I start writing on the board and making tiks when we completed the activity, they were more relaxed and motivated.

When we are talking about problematic pupils or pupils that are not interested of your class (maths, biology, foreign languages and so on), of their personal educational development or of theirs marks... we can`t change anything. Sometimes few games, a song, few images or to wait them to ,,make silence" it`s not enough. :p

My biggest fear is not being able to draw attention of my students to the subject because it is one of the reasons of bad class management. Classroom management takes time. The more you gain experience the more you can manage the classroom.

I feel that giving directions clearly and sometimes in the L1 is necessary. In a low-level class, they zone out as soon as they hear English.
Sometimes I've overprepared and am too excited to get to the final activities. It is important to take the learning slowly, one step at a time.

Once I felt very embarassed. I had another teacher visiting us. She wanted to assist to my lesson and I was very nervous... I think my expectations were too high, I would have liked pupils to be perfect that day, but they were as they always used to be and I felt as if I were completely unable to manage the situation.

Once I had a class with fifty-five students.At that class being listened was too hard.And I chose to speak loudly then I saw that all student ın that class started to speak in a loud voice.After that I decided to not speak loudly.It caused tower a babel.
