MEETING REFLECTION

1. In this meeting, we all read most of the chapters and then wrote our journals.
2. We think that this book will start to get a lot more interesting. The book has just started getting into the action parts after a lot of character development and we know that the characters just want to go back home.
3. We want this book to show more action. We are all interested in the topic and are excited for what is to come in the book

- We finished the book this meeting and we all enjoyed it
- the ending of the book was a good one, as yossarian was now free
- the book had a lot of good themes that taught us lessons, and the most interesting one was the catch-22 paradox
-the book was long but interesting, thought there was much filler
-we would all recommend this book for the lessons it teaches, funny moments, and interesting story

2.we are missing a few people due to the blood drive but we managed and all of us present managed an completed our work
3. We are now thinking about what To do for our indie project and just think strategies for the AP test tomorrow and how we can prepare for it

Reading is very important in many different ways. It enhances the reader’s language and vocabulary. The more someone reads, the more knowledge that person will have. Most people don’t read, and this how you can get above them. When studying for my SAT, I struggled with vocabulary, but reading more helped me learn more words and with reading and language in general.

I think book clubs are good for this school. It forces the kids who would not read a book to read one and benefits them doing so. It provides the benefits discussed in the quote, but also the weekly meetings and projects also help. The projects apply the knowledge from the book and also ensures that the person reads it. The book clubs promote discussion and makes reading fun for people.

Sebastian’s first journal entry was lacking a lot of thought and seemed to only cover the first couple of chapters. He wrote down what he saw in the chapters, but didn’t write his opinion or what he thought about it.

I think book clubs are great especially for people who don’t like to read a lot and now they are grouped up with people of their liking and then they get to pick a book and read and come together to discuss it. Also book clubs are a great way to socialize with yes one of ur friends but also one of a random person you don’t know and you invited him to be in your group
