Theories, models, and frameworks (TMFs) hold real potential to guide and sustain what works, but most sustainability/sustainment research still isn't using them. This review examines how TMFs are being applied and where the gaps lie.

This poster presents eye-tracking evidence from 629 young Peruvian consumers, revealing which front-of-package formats truly shift healthiness perceptions and which only capture attention without changing minds. Using a five-stage analytical framework, we show why simple traffic lights win for healthy snacks, warning octagons for unhealthy ones, and why "guideline daily amounts" may be a wasted opportunity. A data-driven look at the gap between seeing a label and believing it.

Are our communications part of the problem?

The clusters highlight the need to think beyond sedentarism & diet when thinking lifestyle elements worsening prediabetes: there is biological plausibility that substance use and depressive symptoms may worsen metabolic health; 

depression. Geographic and sociodemographic factors showed stronger associations with the diagnostic gap than

behavioural profiles.

Because this is a cross-sectional study, these associations should be interpreted as indicators of subdiagnosis rather than

as causal effects. These findings highlight the limitations of behaviour-focused approaches that overlook systemic

inequalities, and underscore the need for structural interventions to ensure equitable access to mental healthcare.
