A study was done by inserting chips in Mahseer to understand the growth size of Mahseer. For the care of Mahseer, the element of salt is very important adding salt in the pond to help heal wounds, get rid of the fungus, balance the PH according to the suitability of Mahseer, which is more slightly alkaline or slightly acidic.

The assignments I did by answering guest inquiries, helped me a lot to understand the packages offered by BRR.

My task today is to answer inquiries from guests and today we have a guest who will arrive at the resort. This was my first experience meeting face-to-face with a guest. I felt very nervous but tried to control it as best I could.

Preparations that need to be done before the guest arrives at the resort are:

1. Print the registration card in the IDB system
2. Insert the registration card into the file
3. Prepare the key card envelope by pasting the wifi username and password and also write the room number on the key card envelope
4. Register the room key card in the system to access the room

This process needs to be done each time before the guest arrives at the resort.

A guest arrives at 3:00 PM for check-in. Things to do when the guest arrives are:

1. Ask the guest to scan MySejahtera
2. Sanitize their luggage
3. Guest needs to make room payment
4. Guest needs to sign the registration card form
5. Handover of room keys
6. Send a guest to their room

Additionally, we need to tell the guest to keep the window closed because monkeys are highly likely to break into the room if the window is left open.

Today the recreation team and I went on a houseboat trip for 2 days and 1 night. 

We set up a houseboat for the comfort of the guest. This trip is exclusive for guests who want to get away from the city atmosphere. Our guest this time is Mrs. Zarima, she wants to do a family trip with the purpose of traveling and releasing tension with the family.

Today, I do my daily routine as a front officer. From the beginning I was in this department until now, a few things I can conclude that working as a front office is not an easy thing.

I handled inquiries from potential and returning customers and created reservations and kept confirmed and non-confirmed bookings updated from time to time. I handled the IDB Property Management System software to keep track of reservations and do cashiering duties. My duties also include doing cash drop-off to the Finance Department, keeping informed of rooms with the Housekeeping Department, ensuring rooms are fit for use before customer's arrival, and maintaining the professional and pristine condition of the Front Office since I am responsible for bringing customers to the resort, as well as managing their expectations and needs during their stay.

We needed to climb to the rooftop where the water tank was placed. At this introductory session, Nabil and I asked some questions and ways to resolve this issue.
