Apple pie

Ingredients
-1,5 kg apples
-2 cups of wheat flour-320g
-butter cube-200g
-1 medium egg
-1/4 cup of sugar -80g
-2 spoons of baking powder

1.In a large bowl, put together two glasses of flour, one medium egg, 1/4 cup of sugar, a cube of butter, which I recommend cutting into smaller pieces with a knife.

2.At the end, just 2 teaspoons of baking powder and possibly a pinch of salt.
Shape the dough into a ball. Wrap them in foil and refrigerate for an hour.

3.The dough is cooling so you can prepare apples during this time.Peel the apples thinly and divide them into quarters and then remove the seed pockets.
4. Grate the apples with coarse eyelets. Set the bowl of grated apples aside for 20 minutes to let the apples release some juice.

5.You can now add a little cinnamon or spice to the apple pie on the squeezed lightly grated apples.

6.After the dough lies in the refrigerator for an hour, you can take it out. Remove the foil and divide the dough into two parts. Put one half of it in the fridge or freezer
because at the end you grate them and put them on top of the apples in a cake tin.
7.If you put the cake in the fridge, it will be difficult to grate afterwards. Then there is the option of tearing the dough piece by piece and laying it over the entire surface of the apple pie.

8.Line the bottom of the pan with baking paper and smear the sides of the pan with the remains of the butter. Put baking paper on the greased sides. It is easiest to cut part of the dough ball into slices. We put them on the bottom of the mold and at the end I only stick the whole thing into a uniform bottom.

9.Put the grated and squeezed apples on the bottom. Level the surface and lightly pat the grated apples.

10.If your half of the dough has been put in the freezer, take it out and grate it (same eyes as apples). Spread the grated dough over the entire surface of the apple pie. If the dough was waiting in the refrigerator, tear it piece by piece and place it over the entire surface of the apple pie.

11.The apple pie is now ready to bake. Place the mold with the dough in an oven preheated to 180 degrees (up / down heating). Select the middle shelf. Bake the cake for about an hour .. up to a maximum of 70 minutes.

12.
After baking, you can immediately take the apple pie from the oven. After a little cooling, remove the sides and place the dough on a wire rack until cool. Before serving, you can sprinkle the apple pie with powdered sugar or a mixture of powdered sugar and cinnamon.
Aida Kłys , Filip Kiełbik , Blanka Góra , Oliwia Piątkowska
