In September, I decided to make a vocational course in Environmental Heath.

There weren´t many options to apply for.

While I was studying there were some subjects that I liked a lot, for example, food analysis. This subject led me to apply for the degree that I am currently studying.

I did my internship in a food consulting called Logic Alimentaria which made me more interested in food industry.

 When I finished the course, I didn´t find a job related with my studies.

That´s why I decided to study a degree and improve my knoledge in this field.

At that moment, I didn´t mind where to study and what degree I was going to choose. 

Finally, I applied for the  UPM, for Technology in the Food and Agricultural Industry degree. Because there weren´t any other options in other universities because of the available vacancies in other degrees.

With all my interests I had to make decision and choose a topic for my final project, so I decided to combine all of them. Because how you take care of animals affect on the quality of the meat.

In a future, I don´t know yet If I am going to make a Mater´s Degree, but If I do, It will be related to this fields.

During my internship I realised that I was very interested in food safety.

Moreover, during the degree I also discovered the importance of Food quality control, and the connection it has with food safety.

However, I had hardly any subjects of animal production but I was really interested in animal welfare, because of the current vegan movement.
