Guidelines; Procedurers; and Rules of the Road:

This Padlet Page is one-stop shopping for all things Waterwheel !!!

This is a password protected site. Only password users may access it.

To further protect the Integrity of the Site, and with a certain level of anonymity the following standards prevail:

1a. In order to post to the Waterwheel Padlet, students/contributors/administrators/educators/parents must first submit their work to the site Administrator to be reviewed for appropriateness.  (Posters will not see their submissions on the screen UNTIL they are approved).

1b.  Posts MUST first be created in a Microsoft product ONLY (such as Word/Excel/etc).  The Posters must store it to their own backup like their thumb drive or pc BEFORE copying it to the Website.

2.  The following 5 types of people with direct interest in Waterwheel (abbreviations which identify each role is parenthesis):

2a.  Students (Stu);  Educators (Edu);  Parents (Par); Administrators (Adm); outside Contributors (Cnt) may all view and post to the site after your posts are approved.  (Again, your posts are "hiding in the background, you can't see them until they are approved, yet they still there for the Administrator to see.

2b.  Each of the parties above have access and posting rights (unless revolked) to the Waterwheel Padlet, and ALL participants can see ALL work once it's approved.  If a post is approved, then altered in an inappropriate way, it will be take down.

2c. If party is NOT a Student (designated by Stu........as the site Administrator only knows viable Students and not other viewers), please designate your three letter acronym after your name.

3.  THIS IS A FAMILY SHOW.........STUDENTS, YOU ARE KNOWN TO THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THIS SITE.  EVERY STUDENT ALREADY KNOWS CLEARLY WHAT THIS MEANS.  VIOLATIONS OF THE "G" RATING WILL HAVE CONSEQUENCES.

4a.  This site is password protected and to add a Post, posters obviously must know it to get in.  To increase security even higher, if you Post you must enter the following at the beginning of each Post:

4b.  Each Post will list the owner's First Name(s) and First Initial of Last Name(s) ONLY........NO FULL NAMES WILL BE POSTED NOR CAN BE REFERRED TO IN YOUR POST.

4c.  Each posting Student will list their Course Name (APW or APG) and their respective Hour.

5.  All posts should be on topic, and as grammatically correct as possible.

6.  Question(s) and Critique(s) are welcome which enhance the quality of the Capstone Project's Experiential Learning Experience.

7.  All Posts will be considerate and civilized.  All others need not apply.

8.  Be aware these guidelines will adapt to meet the evolving needs of the Capstone Project:

You will find the AP World History Capstone, the AP Government Capstone, info from collaborators, and some items on a Vision for an operational Experiential Learning Center.

You've asked for a place to "dig in the dirt"...........and Dr Rob pointed us to one, so once we get some working plans, we will move forward any way we can !!!

I also have been working in the background on not only a proposed Site, but also a proposed Structure.  

Decisions on both are far above my pay grade (ARGGGG)............but I have actually built, and still know how to build, and have a buddy who still builds.........a Structure exactly like I have proposed to make the Experiential Learning Center (ELC) as a live and running World Class Learning Experience for ALL students at MHS. Hey, ya gotta dream big !l
