<title>Waterwheel - Project #1 of the MHS Experiential Learning Center (ELC) by Garry Hagedorn</title>
      <link>https://padlet.com/garryhagedorn/Waterwheel2016</link>
<description>Waterwheel has grown from an AP Student Presentation, thru student demands for hands on learning thru both a Project and a Site, to it&#39;s current form: a Multi-Discipline endeavor featuring two components.

The Actual Project itself:
1. -A Capstone Project where AP World Students build a working waterwheel under simulated conditions 8000 years ago near the Tigris River.....

AND

2. -An AP Government study an actual government forming. Governance MUST happen when disparate individuals face a crisis situation. which is a design component of Waterwheel. AP World Students must create the 3 Pillars of Government to overcome their crisis, and that process is subsequently being analyzed and reported on by AP Government.

ENJOY !!!! Gwh</description>

<title>1-15-2016. IF WE BUILD IT, THEY WILL COME.&amp;nbsp;Turning the Experiential Learning Center (ELC) dream into reality: Phase 2 - the STRUCTURE. &amp;nbsp; Our Structure only needs a Roof, Electricity, and Water....(electricity and water are already at Proposed Site) with a Roof ONLY and no sides nor concrete floor.....we want the experiential learning of our ancestors......in the dirt! &amp;nbsp; In it we can build anything significant to Humankind !!!! &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; For example, we can build our Project #1: &amp;nbsp;a Mesopotamian Waterwheel as the ancients first did in Mesopotamia 8000 years ago. &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; Or Tee Pees, for example, emulating part of the strain Native American&#39;s experienced in the elements. &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; The Author&#39;s proposed Structure is made of Steel for durability, much like this real building under construction near Columbia&#39;s Tractor Supply on Route B. &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; It measures 150&#39; x 75&#39;......a size which fits perfectly on our Site, too. &amp;nbsp; This author has operated every piece of equipment in this picture, and has physically &quot;done the work&quot; from &quot;first shovel&quot; to &quot;giving new owners the key&quot;...........during his private industry career doing Commercial Construction for his best friend since grade school and Paris Coyote Co-Captain Allen Wilhoit, who owns W&amp;amp;P Construction. &amp;nbsp;Author knows he can deliver, so he as written and submitted a Proposal on behalf of his Students. &amp;nbsp; Here&#39;s to hoping the good folks who support our School will build it, knowing Experiential Learning will come !!!</title>
