One day at twilight a tortoise was sitting on a log floatting on a lake, when suddenly some frogs started flying on some pads. The tortoise was puzzled!
The frogs arrived in a nice town with typical detached houses. They passed by a window. Inside the house a man was having a sandwich and a glass of milk. He saw the frogs but he didn't understand what was happening. It was 11:25

Students looked at the picture book by D. Wiesner and used their imagination to write the story suggested by the pictures. For each picture they used the following questions as a guide for their observations: What can you see in this picture? Where are the characters of the picture? What are they doing? How do they feel? Can you guess what time of the day it is? Filippo and Francesco collaborated with me, their teacher, in copying some of their friends' descriptions on this padlet and Matteo drew a scene of the book as the wallpaper of this padlet.

All at once the lily pads stopped flying and the frogs fell down. They had to jump for a long way before getting back to their pond. The next day the police found all the lily pads on the road. The inspector looked puzzled. In the street with him, there were some policemen, the dog, the cat and also the man who maybe saw the frogs while he was having dinner. Now he is giving an interview to TV reporters.
