Starting with Madam introducing himself then all the students introduced themselves.

then Madam summarizes briefly about all the topics that we will learn in this semester for this subject. after madam explaining about the topics of this subject, madam gives an overview on the assessment of this subject.  Madam focus on Microteaching in a pair, course design in a group work, article review and e-portfolio.

1. Article review topic is related to any curriculum and instruction. The article should not below that 2003. it will be consists of 10% mark.
2. Microteaching in pair work, the topic must be in the secondary syllabus. Madam did not state the specific subject and we freely choose what subject we gonna teach. 
3. The portfolio requires us to write the reflective about what we have learned that week. a student needs to create an online base portfolio either from Blogspot, padlet or anything else. as long as it is an online base portfolio it will be accepted. 
4. Course design program is about a group of student need to design a program for a student that related to education. we freely choose a type of program that we want to do.

KSSR or Kurikulum Standard Sekolah Rendah is a plan of study for Malaysian Primary school for a period of 6 years.
 
 KBSM or Kurikulum Bersepadu Sekolah Menengah is a plan of study for Malaysian Secondary school for a period of 5 years
 
curriculum in Malaysia consists of curriculum, co-curriculum, extrea curriculum and hidden curriculum. 

Madam explained that microteaching should use 21st-century activity. There are 47 activities of 21st-century activities that can be taken in the Cikgu Suhaimi blogs.

today I also learn about hidden curriculum. it is a side effect of schooling, Such as the transmission of norms, values, and beliefs conveyed in the classroom and the social environment. It should be mentioned that the break time is an important part of the hidden curriculum

tylers model model involves 4 stages:

3)Method
4)Evaluation

while interaction model also has 4 stages. but it is very dynamic and can be started with one of the stages. there is no obligation to start with any stage. they have advantages and disadvantages

Madam shows a video of elementary school students in Japan studying at school. I can learn how hidden curriculum is learned among Japanese. . This shows that education in primary schools has shaped the society of Japan nowadays.

The Contemporary Model is a combination of all three models. •framework of curriculum development involves 5 steps:

then madam explain about the course design project. Madam explains very clearly. Among the aspects emphasized is the name of the programme, target group, objective of the project, content of the project, method, and evaluation.

I define it in easy term, Assessment is the process of gathering data like teacher always conducting assessments at schools such as pre test, test, observation and examination. While evaluate mean Once these data are gathered, you can then evaluate the student’s performance. when the teacher has obtained data through various types of assessment done in the school, teacher will be able to evaluate student performance

there is 2 type of assessment whach are summative and formative. in simple word formative mean ongoing assessment like assigment while summartive mean assessment at the end of the programme like final exam.

Today's class learn about Education system in Malaysia.
The education system in Malaysia and Europe is very different in terms of approach start from kindergarten to university level. Malaysia is very focused on studying and examining at every level of education which causes students to lack in various aspects including skill, manners, future planning, and others. 

here are set of stages education in Malaysia that every Malaysia will go through:

•Tertiary education
•Postgraduate

The test will include the chapter that has been covered from week 1 to week 4.
The questions for this test are quite tricky especially in the objective part.
however the class runs normally as the test is made out of class time. classes today learn about instructional objectives.
Learning objectives are a way for teachers to structure, sequence, and plan out learning goals for a specific instructional period,
instructional objective can helping teachers to plan steps necessary to achieve plan and helping students to know what is expected of them at the end of the program.
The important thing that Madam emphasizes is that the objective must be OBSERVABLE and MEASURABLE

There are several sources for teacher to do objective which are MAGER'S format of instructional objective, Grondlund (1970) and Bloom Instructional objective.  However, now the teacher only uses Bloom instructional objective

bloom instructional objective divided the objectives into 3 domains:
1.Cognitive domain : knowing fact and information (knowledge)
2.Psychomotor domain: performing physical skills (attitude)
3.Affective domain: exhibiting personal attitudes (skill)

there are various levels of cognitive, affective and psychomotor domains that need to be set by the teacher before making a objective based on the bloom. it depends on the level of the student itself.

I am very interested in microteaching because it can increase my confidence level in front of people. It also helps in developing my skills to teach later.

Today there are 6 pairs to do microteaching including me and my partner which is Nazmi. The first partner is Farrah and Amira. they teach about traditional dances. Madam adores their teaching techniques that were exciting and fun. Students are also very excited when doing all the activities.

The second partner is Shahirah Izati and Ainin Sofia teaches about the poem which is one of the syllabi of English. I was very excited with the way Izzati delivered information and gave instructions to the students because she was very confident. they have a positive comment from madam with the activities they do is very creative.

The third pair today is Fatin and Fatihah who choose the Physic title which is a Bernoulli principle. in my opinion, they are rather brave enough to choose a rather difficult title. this is a challenge for them. they have good effort as they teach until all learners can understand what is taught.

The fourth pair is Fatihah and Ummi. According to my observations, they both have the technique of delivering good information. they can attract students to stay focused on what they are teaching. In addition, the titles they choose are also very close to Malaysian people which non-communicable diseases. the things they need to improve are the aspects of teaching aids. Their fonts on the slide is quite small and hard to see by the students.

the second last presenters today is me and my partner which is Nazmi. The title we selected was bullying under the PHE subject. I am satisfied with what has been delivered. we did it well. However, there are still aspects that need to be improved in terms of time management. we are over time. The activity that we did which is Hot Seat has received a good compliment from Madam.

Today's final presenters are Waliuddin and Yassir. The topics they are teaching are a respiratory system in science subjects. I am very interested in them with innovation that is to use grapes as alveoli. making it more appealing to the properties of the grapes is quite the same as alveoli in the human lungs. however, they need to improve in terms of how to deliver information and spend more time on students doing activities in the classroom.

The first pair who perform microteaching today is Haikal and Ikhwan. They have taught mathematics today with the more specific they teach statistics example mode, median and mean. The comment from madam is that their teaching technique are very good and they teach in a simple way and the examples given make the students easy to understand, and the activity being done is less because of a lot of time being used to teach

The next pair is Shahmi and Harold. Their title is motivation in a sport in sports science subjects. comments madam to them is that Harold seems to have no motivation despite teaching motivation topic. they need to be more engage and active with students when teaching. so they need to give feedback to the answer that their student has answered.

Nazirul and Azim teach about food intake which is one of the topics in Physical Health Education. Madam comment is that they have good two-way communication and have good engagement with students.
