This is because I overthought and ended up getting the question wrong. Though I got it wrong, I realized my mistake after the timer ended, so I didn't have time to change my answer. One common misconception I've seen is in conjugation. When you conjugate the denominator of the 1st fraction, the 2nd fraction you will multiply it to should have the opposite sign of the denominator of the 1st fraction. I used to think that the 2nd fraction should always be positive. 

2. I noticed this misconception through Cerebry since I would get a question that requires conjugation and foil wrong. I had to review the proper solution to get the right answer.
