That must of made her really sad for her brother. There were only 16-20 life boats on the ship. Only 30% of the people on the titanic survived some jumped in the water. There were a lot of kids that lost there parents and a lot of men and women died in this horrible tragedy  on the titanic. There were a lot of screams of fear when it hit the ice berg and started to sink.
