I would like to take this opportunity to thank you personally for helping get our daughter enrolled and to Felixstowe School as a whole for giving her this opportunity.

I can’t believe today is her last day! The month has flown by for both of us.

Thank you to all the staff and pupils she met for making her feel very welcome as a guest student, she has enjoyed the experience as it is very different to her usual school overseas. She has made some great friends who I am sure she will keep in touch with.

The experience has been amazing for her and I’m sure she will take away with her what she has learnt.

Thank you so much for your time today and for giving me such a fantastic tour of your school! I was blown away by the behaviour of the pupils and how focused everyone was with their learning, not to mention the amazing facilities and stunning art work displayed in the corridors. What an incredible job you are all doing to support the children in your community and I feel so pleased and proud to be working with you.

He has really enjoyed the connections he has made with some staff members in particular who have inspired him massively and helped him through the time he has spent at Felixstowe School.

The SEN department have undoubtedly ALWAYS made him feel welcome and valued and I know he has appreciated the support right from the start in Sept so thank you so much for that. While on that subject, I as the (probably over protective!!) parent have always been made to feel that any worries I have regarding him have been listened too and nothing has been too much trouble to sort out and get something in place to help him, so many many Thank you's from me personally on that, to all of you.

I hope this email finds you safe and well? I felt compelled to write to you following my recent spell of employment at Felixstowe School.

I have previously done supply work at the school, I began in 2015 and worked sporadically for the following 2-3 years but hadn't actually taught in the building since 2017. I returned at the beginning of November and was so pleasantly surprised. The difference is palpable, it has been like returning to a different school, The children are calm, friendly and focussed. The corridors are quiet during movement time and there is a new sense of discipline and order present.

Myself and my daughter (aged 7) came to watch Matilda on Wednesday evening, we don't have relatives at the school but we were told about the show and wanted to come along. I just wanted to email and say what a fantastic show it was. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and want to applaud the students and staff for their hard work and dedication.

Wow: what a fabulous show! Big congratulations on a first-class production.

Our Year 4 drama group were well and truly inspired: it was lovely to see their little faces as they sat transfixed by the action on stage.

Thank you for making us feel so welcome: your help with the tickets, the reserved seats, the backstage tour and the opportunity to meet the cast. It was wonderful to see so many ex-Kingsfleet faces...and discover how they have continued to develop their talents and interests - can't wait to share this with the staffroom tomorrow. I hope you are very proud.

I was delighted to be invited to see the schools show - Matilda.

My goodness it was fantastic.

It was a pleasure to see how professional everyone was not just the cast but the back stage workers who ensured everything ran smoothly.

All of the hard work was clear, and it definitely paid off, the show took me through a myriad of emotions, but left me feeling uplifted, I enjoyed it all, the teamwork and camaraderie on stage was evident.

Very well done to all the cast and crew, and very well done Mrs Pilcher this experience and the skills the students gain from participation is incredible.

I just wanted to drop you a quick email to thank you for taking the time to send my child a card in the post.

The look on his face as he read it was priceless..... what a lovely thing to do.

Thank you for all the time, encouragement and support that you give to him. The change in his attitude to school in the last 6 months is incredible, and I know it is down to his enjoyment in music, and the time he spends with yourself and his fellow students in your department!

Thankyou to you and your team for bringing together an expectational sports award evening last night.

As parents we felt very proud of our daughter's achievements and also very proud to be part of Felixstowe School.

Clearly yourself and all staff are positively committed to providing a wide variety of sporting opportunities throughout all year groups. Thanks to your dedication and time spent making this possible.

I’d just like to pass on my sincere thank you to Mrs C. She could see my son was struggling with his homework and went out of her way to make contact with myself which has proved to be really effective since we’ve come up with a joint plan together. Her encouragement of him in school has really made so much difference.

I appreciate how busy teachers are and for her to take the time really felt like she was going the extra mile to communicate with us and encourage my son.

Good morning, following my engagement visit to Felixstowe School yesterday as a Community Police Officer I would like to say how enjoyable it was to speak to members of staff and children during a busy lunch break. We have a really good working relationship with the safeguarding team and I must point out that since September 2023 we have seen a noticeable reduction in School reports to Police. I look forward to further engagements in Felixstowe School.
