The Invention Of The Engines;Internal combustion engines are machines that are formed by the pressure created by burning the fuel in a limited area called the combustion chamber inside the engine, moving the part called the piston. Considered the predecessor of internal combustion engines, an assembly consisting of a metallic cylinder with a piston was developed in Paris in 1673 by physicist Christiaan Huygens and his assistant Denis Papin. Belgian engineer Étienne Lenoir patented a two-stroke internal combustion engine under the name "Gas and expanded air engine" in 1859, and in 1860 he developed the first electrically ignited and water-cooled internal combustion engine. The reason why these engines are called internal combustion engines is that combustion takes place inside the engine. In external combustion engines, they are called external combustion engines because combustion takes place outside. For example: Steam engine. Internal combustion engines took an important place in the invention of automobiles in the following years.

He developed devices in many fields such as electric power generation, mass communication, sound recording, and filmmaking. His inventions, such as the phonograph, the film camera, and early versions of the light bulb, made a huge impact in the industrialized modern world. We he is important. He was one of the first inventors to apply the principles of orderly science and teamwork to the invention development process. He worked with many researchers. Established the world's first industrial research laboratory. He is one of the most prolific inventors of history, with 1,093 patents registered in the USA as well as patents in other countries.[3][4][5]

Edison was married twice and had six children. He died of diabetes in 1931.

The microscope, which was used to examine invisible materials, was first used in the XVII century. It appeared in the century. This simple tool consisted of two slides. By sliding one of these slides inside the other, it was possible to magnify and reflect the items.

We it is important.

Microscopes, which could only examine substances that could not be seen through before, have now reached the capacity to examine homogeneous substances with the invention of the Italian scholar Campari, later in the century.

The first complex microscope was invented by Zacharias Janssen in 1590, after the simple microscope with a single lens invented by the Dutch Anton van leeuwenhoek.

The instrument called microscope, which is formed by the combination of the Greek words "micros" meaning small and "skopeein" meaning to look, is basically made of two lenses, eyepiece and objective. The lens magnifies the object under examination, while the eyepiece makes the image even larger.

The substances to be examined are placed in the glass section of the microscope. Good visibility of objects is due to the fact that this glass is very thin and transmits light well. Light reflection in microscopes is carried out through mirrors. Highly developed electronic microscopes are capable of magnifying matter millions of times.

The basic parts of a microscope are a capacitor that serves as illumination, the adjusting screws that are reflected, and the diaphragm that controls the amount of light going into the capacitor.

The first computers are said to have been abacuses. However, when adapted to the present day, the first computers were produced by Charies Babbage. A computer was first designed by Charles Babbage in 1833. Charles Babbage developed this prototype until 1870. Charles Babbage created a difference machine that adds and subtracts numbers. Instead of simplifying this machine, he produced the computer in order to improve it further. We it is imortant.

Born and raised in the Austrian Empire, Tesla received an advanced training in engineering and physics in the 1870s and gained hands-on experience in the early 1880s while working in telephony and the new electric power industry under Continental Edison. In 1884, he emigrated to the United States, where he became a citizen. He worked at Edison Machine Works before briefly making his own way in New York. For his partners to fund and market their ideas, Tesla set up laboratories and companies in New York to develop various electrical and mechanical devices. His alternating current (AC) induction motor and related polyphase AC patents licensed by Westinghouse Electric in 1888 earned him substantial money and became the cornerstone of the polyphase system the company would market. Trying to develop inventions that he could patent and market, Tesla experimented with mechanical oscillators/generators, electrical discharge tubes, and early X-ray imaging. He also built a wireless-controlled boat, one of the first to be exhibited. Known as an inventor, Tesla demonstrated his . He also often dined at Delmonicos.[6] Throughout the 1890s, he continued his ideas for wireless lighting and worldwide wireless electrical power distribution in high-voltage, high-frequency power experiments in New York and Colorado Springs. In 1893, he made statements about the possibility of wireless communication with his devices. After Wardenclyffe, Tesla worked with a series of inventions in the 1910s and 1920s with varying degrees of success. Having spent most of his money, Tesla lived in many hotels in New York and left behind unpaid bills. He died in New York in January 1943.[8] Tesla's work fell into relative obscurity until after his death in the 1960s at the General Conference on Weights and Measures, the SI unit of magnetic flux density was called the tesla.[9] This situation led to the re-emergence of interest in Tesla since the 1990s.[10]

Florentine Guiseppe Meucci invented the telephone for the first time in 1871. However, after losing its patent rights, the first telephone was officially invented in 1876. In addition, Alexander Grahambell was the first person to speak on the invented telephone. As a result of research carried out in 1875, it was discovered that human voices or other sounds could be transmitted through a wire.

In fact, this discovery was completely accidental. Mr. Watson accidentally discovered that it was a good communication device for sounds while dealing with strings. Despite many attempts, Alexander Grahambell did not give up and succeeded in inventing the telephone in 1876.

Have you ever taken a walk in the snow and looked carefully at the snowflakes that were quietly placed on your jacket? Have you noticed that while snowflakes, all different from each other, are falling on you, they all have the same geometric shape? Each one has different details, but it is always hexagonal… And while trying to figure out why all the snowflakes are hexagonal, did you turn your guesses into a booklet and present it to a friend as a New Year's gift? Maybe you didn't, but that's how Johannes Kepler's adventure in crystallography began.

A portrait of Kepler made in 1610.
The famous astronomer and mathematician Johannes Kepler is often associated with his work in astronomy. But in addition to his work in astronomy, Kepler also has studies in quite different fields such as crystallography. His observations on snowflakes, which we have narrated above, led Kepler to undertake the first serious studies in the field of crystallography. Concerning crystallography before Kepler, BC. There are records kept by the Chinese in the 2nd century and the philosopher Albert Magnus in the west in the 13th century. However, the first serious work that can be considered serious on crystallography belongs to Kepler. In the following years, many scientists such as René Descartes and Robert Hookes carried out other studies supporting Kepler's studies on snowflakes.

Kepler presents his 24-page work, titled "On Six-sided Snowflakes" (original title: De nive sexangula), to his friend Johannes Matthäus Wackher von Wackenfels as a Christmas present. In this booklet, written in 1611, he tries to explain why snowflakes have a hexagonal shape.

In the introduction, Kepler describes the interesting geometry of the snowflake that fell on his jacket as he took a stroll on Prague's Charles Bridge. He then states, “There has to be a reason why the snowflake is hexagonal. It can't be by chance. Why always six? The reason should not be sought in the essence of the material, but in a factor.” he tells in his words. He thinks that there must be a mechanical effect at the root of this factor.

Kepler's prediction turns out to be correct. He confirms this with the English mathematician Thomas Harriot, who served on Walter Raleigh's ship as a navigator between 1584 and 1585. As Harriot ponders how he can stack the cannonballs on Raleigh's ship to take up less space, he inevitably begins to theorize about how the spheres of equal radius can be arranged more tightly. He shared these theories with Kepler between 1606 and 1608.

Thinking in the axis of Harriot's ideas, Kepler states in his published study that the hexagonal arrangement for snowflakes is the most tightly packed arrangement possible. This view of the most tightly packed sequence is also known as Kepler's conjecture. The mathematical proof of this conjecture was proved by the mathematician Thomas C. Hales from the United States in 1998, years after Kepler, and published 7 years later.

Kepler's prediction about the hexagonal array is indeed correct. Because snowflakes are made up of a hexagonal crystal, and other hexagonal crystals arranged around that crystal to form a larger hexagon. But while Kepler was right about the hexagonal arrangement of the spheres, his theory fell short of explaining the gaudy and stick-like shapes of snowflakes. It's true that this arrangement produces neat hexagons, but snowflakes don't necessarily have straight edges: On the contrary, they often appear in branched, ornate shapes.

However, Kepler concludes this subject, which he has not come to a conclusion, by stating that more research is needed: “As I write this, it has started to snow again and this time it is more intense than before. And I will be studying these grains more intensely.”

How Are Snowflakes Formed?
Snowflakes are the solid form of water particles that crystallize in the atmosphere and reach the earth's surface. In cold weather, water cools and solidifies as it falls from the clouds, revealing snowflakes.

Snowflakes nucleate and grow on particles in the air, such as silicate mineral fragments from land, that offer a suitable surface for heterogeneous nucleation at temperatures above -40°C. If there is a relatively high amount of water vapor in the air, snowflakes will grow rapidly and by branching, exhibiting an indented structure. In relatively dry weather, however, snowflakes are not so pompous, they develop more simply.

Not only the amount of water vapor in the air, but also temperature differences in the atmosphere can affect the shape of snowflakes. As snowflakes pass through the layers of the atmosphere and solidify due to temperature differences, the direction in which they grow can also change. In other words, the more different temperatures a water drop encounters as it falls, the more complex branches it grows.
