I would recommend this book to third grade and older. With the help of her friends Albert and Keisha, and her teacher Mr. Daniels, Ally finds confidence in herself and accepts her dyslexia. 
I would recommend this book to grades four and higher. The book tells us that friendship is important and that you should always consider the feelings of the other person.
