They spot a man running deliriously with another a different.  He finally collapses to the ground after three long minutes. The man's dog who was wagging his tail at the time started barking and howling. They approach carefully, and when they realise the man is incapacitated, Jason and Randy, and John try to wake the man up. Randy keeps gathering firewood while John continues to shake the man. After what seemed like half an hour, the man wakes up.
