However I will tell you that my dad was the one who chose my name. My middle name though is taken from my moms side of the family. My great grandma, grandma and mom all share the middle name Ann, because I was the first born it was passed on to me!

I came across the daily reading that day and this scripture came up, "The Kingdom of Heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls.

While both my parents decided on my name, my dad was behind the spelling of my first and both name. 'Kelsea" has 2 inspirations; the first one being my mom, who is named kelly (where the kel in my name comes from), and the second inspiration is the ocean (sea in kelsea). My dad decided to spell it with an 'a' at the end instead of 'y' as the house my parents were living in was right by the sea. It is cool looking back now as I find I have a strong connection to the ocean. My middle name, "Jealita", again decided by my dad, is a mix of both of my grandmothers names, Jean and Carmelita. My dad actually wanted my first name to be Jealita, but my mom thought of the compromise of it being my middle name. Both sides of my family have irish decent, so many of the names that were inspiration of mine are either irish/celtic.
