I like travelling, reading and doing new experiences that increase my cultural background. 

During my Ph.D. I spent several months in NTNU a famous technical university in Trondheim Norway. As expert in metallurgy I was appointed teacher at University of Lecce.

Il 2004 I left university and I started working for one of the most important iron foundry of Italy. Over 14 years I hold offices of Quality Manager, Project Manager, Maintenance Manager and other senior positions in the Company. I learned a lot during my working experience in such a complex industry

In 2016 I won a national competition for high school teacher recruitment and I choose the Epifanio Ferdinando among different school interested in me. I teach Mechanics and also Materials’ and Processes’ Technology. I love teaching what I have learnt during my previous working experiences to my students with plenty of examples and real cases. I like to be friendly with them but they also know that I pretend their maximum effort.

I like visiting seaside places especially in  winter and walking on the beach. I like almost all kind of music especially classical. My favourite food are cakes and all kind of sweets. Unfortunately I’m hopeless when it comes to cooking so if you see me at the kitchen stoves do not hesitate: order a pizza!

I have lots of passions, such as: singing (when I was a child, I sang in a choir), playing my sax and twirling, I’m a majorette!! But my real passion is reading my books, with them I can see the world with other eyes, in fact I would like to travel, but in this period it is very difficult… When the Covid emergency will give up, I will visit my favourite places in Italy (Rome, Milan, Genoa).

I’m sixteen, my birthday is on the 29^th of the December, for these reason i love Christmas time.

I live in San Donaci a small village near my  school.

I am  attending  the third year of high school :”Liceo Scientifico E. Ferdinando”

I love travelling, and I hope to do it in the future.

Since I started travelling, I was a different person, My focus was narrower, and my worries and concerns were more confined to that which was in front of me. 

Two years ago i decided to undertake a trip in London, and for me it was a hard choise, because i was only thirteen and i was scared to be on my own without my parents.

Even if i was really insecure decided to set off, and in the end it was the best decision i have ever made.

 

Thanks to my  trip I stopped thinking of countries and cities around the world as “anonymous” places that didn’t effect me and the world just became smaller.

Last year i went to my last trip, to Dublin . I was really fascinate from the landscape , and i met a lots of good friends and now I am still in touch with them.

During those trip I improve my English and now i can speak it  fluently.

Firstly, I want to recognize that I’m fortunate because my parents gave me the opportunity to travel a lot.

Travelling gets me out of my comfort zone, I am really shy and i don’t like to talk with people that i don’t know well, but travelling help me to interact with people from another country and to open my mind.

Don’get impress by my shyness, because I have a strong personality, I’m always moody and people around me can say that, I’m really talkative and I like to meet new people.

 

 

 I have been teaching Natural Science, Earth Science and Chemistry in this Liceo Scientifico for several years.

I have an excellent relationship with my students.

To them, I try to convey my passion for these subjects, a deep respect for the environment, a tendency towards experimentation as a useful approach of investigation for observing, projecting and testing results.

I have been involved in several projects in partnership with research associations, institutions and Universities, often achieving notable acknowledgements.

The interest and the creativity I am endowed with, encourage me to accept new and thrilling challenges.

I’M VERY HAPPY TO BE PART OF THIS INTERNATIONAL  PROGRAMME AND I HOPE THAT DURING THE FOLLOWING PROGRAMMED MEETINGS WE’LL BE ABLE TO LEARN FROM EACH OTHER SOMETHING MORE ABOUT OUR DIFFERENT CULTURES.

I like travelling in fact two years ago I went to Greece with my family and we visited the famous Islands Mykonos, Santorini . 

Three years ago I went in London with my friends and we stayed  there one week. It was a very exciting experience and I hope to go there  next Summar.

I do lots of things in my freetime, in particular I like listening to music and playing it on my guitar; in particular I love rock and punk music. I also like travelling, in fact I've already visited lots of italian cities and 2 years ago I went to London . My dream is to go aboard other times, visiting the most famous cities in the world, such us european cities like Dublin or Parigi and also american’s ones.

Another hobby for me is keeping me feet, in fact before this period of pandemy i went to the gym about 3 times a week, and I also like watching sports on tv, in particular soccer.

My dream is travelling, visiting new places and meeting new people. It would be great to do it by motorbike or sailing… they are my passions!!!
