Bung Hatta is one of “The Proclamators” of Indonesia Independence. Born with full name Mohammad Hatta on 12 August 1902 at Fort de Kock, West Sumatra, Dutch East Indies, and Bung Hatta played important roles in Indonesian strive for Independence. He is well-educated person that strive not with physical power but used intelligent instead.

After the independence day of Indonesia, Mohammad Hatta became the first vice president of the country and became prime minister later on. He continued to build the country with his efforts and thoughts.

Bung Hatta died at the age 77 on 14 March 1980 at Jakarta, Indonesia. He was buried at Tanah Kusir public cemetery at Jakarta. To honor his name and Soekarno as the independence proclamators, Indonesia’s biggest airport at Cengkareng is named Soekarno-Hatta.

He finished his undergraduate until doctoral study in Aachen, Germany. He met Ainun in senior high school, but they did not meet often. They got marry in 1962 in Bandung. Both of them decided to move to Germany after married. Habibie must work hard to fulfill their financial life. Unlucky, Ainun got cancer in 2010.

In 2012, their love story was filmed and got some awards. Habibie and Ainun became inspirational relationship for many people. Indonesian people called them as eternal love story. At the end of Ainun’s life, Habibie did not leave her for a second.

Dewi Sartika was the leading figure for the education of Indonesian women. She was born on 4 December 1884 and died on 11 September 1947. She made the most important acts when she founded the first school for women. Because of it, she was acknowledged formally as a National Hero in 1966.

Dewi Sartika was born in Cicalengka on 4 December 1884 in the aristocratic Sundanese family. Her father is R. Rangga Somanegara, and her mother is R. A. Raja pemas. According to some biographies, Dewi Sartika often pretended to be a teacher as a child. He studied in the Dutch School. She lived with her uncle after her father died and then received Sundanese education culture there. In 1899 she decided to move to Bandung.

She founded Sekolah Isteri on 16 January 1904 in Bandung. The school took place at Badung Regency’s Pendopo but then relocated to Ciguriang Street. In the new location, the school's name was changed to Sekolah Kaoetamaan Isteri. In 1912, the school became famous and had nine branches in West Java. In 1920, all cities in West Java had one school. However, the school changed its name in September 1929 to Sekolah Raden Dewi.

Kapitan Pattimura has the real name Thomas Matulessy. Pattimura was born in 1783 in Saparua, Maluku. He led the resistance that crippled the Dutch. 

In 1817, Pattimura captured a Dutch fort in Saparua and controlled it for three months. Unfortunately, he was finally arrested by the Dutch. The Netherlands sentenced him to hang. The execution of Pattimura was carried out on December 16, 1817. Throughout his life, Pattimura was known as a person with a firm conviction. He was persuaded by the Dutch many times to cooperate. But Pattimura rejected the offer firmly. He would rather die by hanging than live only to attack his own country. When the Dutch controlled Indonesia, the people of Maluku experienced various sufferings. That is why Pattimura led the people's war against the Dutch and captured the Duurstede fort. 

Pattimura's brave struggle made him fall as an Indonesian hero. He forbade that one must be tough and have a firm heart.  These two things are very much needed in growing a sense of love for the country and being able to make someone willing to fight for their country.

Ki Hadjar Dewantara, was born on May 2, 1889 in Yogyakarta. He came from a Yogyakarta aristocratic family and attended a Dutch-sponsored medical school but failed to complete the course. Ki Hadjar Dewantara was the founder of the Taman Siswa school system, and having had a widespread influence, he also pushed for modernization but also promoted Indonesian culture. He feels that education is the best way to strengthen Indonesian society.

The first Taman Siswa school was established in Java in July 1922. Instruction, conducted informally, emphasized the traditional skills and values of Javanese life, particularly in music and dance. Ki Hadjar Dewantara later died on April 26, 1959, in Yogyakarta. After his death, Ki Hadjar Dewantara was named one of the national heroes in the field of education.
