Christians (not only for HOPE SMU):

• Have the heart for the lost

• Have the fire and passion to put their faith into action

• Have a fearless spirit for rejection & excuses that their friends may have, and courage to step out of their comfort zone

Everyone else:

• Interest into Christianity and that there will be opened doors and opportunities

• They will not be constantly swarmed with commitments, assignments and projects (most friends say they have too many things to do)

• Have enough sleep and rest (most friends say they need to catch up on sleep during the weekends)

Sunkyu:

1. students who feel like theyre just one of the many, small, insignificant

- psalm 139, led to knowing God as Creator

2. believers in smu to be brought deeper in love, so that this love will attract lost souls to Christ

- “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”” John 13:34-35

Dan: prayed for students who are uncertain and certain abt their future, that success will not be the one thing they desire for, and for them to desire for the thing that on God can fulfil; for us to focus on being obedient and the harvest instead of just focusing on the rejections and discouragement

Claire: for God's warmth and love and presence to fill the building; for the people who step in to be lead to towards God in their pursuits

For the people who are seeking their purpose to encounter God along the way

Dan:

Breakthrough in ideology in profs and students

Arts scene to be less toxic, for them to find God through art, dancing is not their life

Mabs:

For pppl that may feel that they r forgotten, that the Lord sees them, also that for ppl that might feel that they are in a very dark place, that Christ followers would rise up to be vessels and bring light into darkness

Campus green:

Mabs: the grafting of trees, that the Lord would bring tgt Believers of different denominations tgt as a Church in prep for revival to come, prayed against the devil's plotting to sow disunity in the Church and against spiritual decay

Claire: for the secular or non-Christian events that happen in campus green, no matter how exciting or cool they may be, to stir a sense of smth missing or a sense of despair that can only be filled by God. For us Christians to persevere and be filled with the conviction to continue obeying and worshipping God even in places of great visibility like campus green.

Dan: for the Christian grads to steward their resources and gifts from God well, in the workplace and wherever they are at.
