We have built our house nearer to our feilds.
This picture is taken in summer with help of drone.
I uploaded this because this is what comes to my mind if i listen the word village.
DESCRIPTION
since it is summer only few feilds are used for cultivation because of shortage of water.
picture comprises of mango farms, coconut trees, roads, vegetable crops, some unused land.
You can see diff types of soils too.
since this picture is taken at noon you can find no person travelling.

This festival might go on for a week or even last a day depending on the village and its folk stories.

A farmer grows his crops and once the crop is harvested, the husk, remains of the crop is fed to the cattle, cattle provides a farmer with milk, meat, dung ( firewood substitute to cook) and most importantly Manure. Manure or decomposed excreta of cattle is again used in soil to enrich its nutrients for the next crop. 
It works in a cycle, hence its one of the most essential part of a village lifestyle .

It is mesmerizing to believe that ancient construction have a lot of science and hard work involved.
