Organize your observations into themes on a wall, post your clusters of observations on the virtual sticky note board for your team to review. As a team, go through a round of synthesis that incorporates the observations of each team member .

2. Compare and contrast the Age of Science to the Age of Design

3. What alignment and variance did the McKinsey articles, Little Bets and Deloitte all have?
- My take on the theme is that we are in a world of rapid evolution and growth and that progress has to be made. The old way of doing things will not continue to work

4) Take a Point of View.
  • Are we in the midst of a paradigm shift? Yes- why
  • If so, a shift to what?  Leading millennials in a world where new countries and cultures will dominate the global market like never before. The world has never moved this fast and we will never be this slow again
  • Give your paradigm shift a name, and explain why you chose that label. Any marketing folks here?
  • What are the implications for you as a manager, a team member, and a leader?
Manager- paragraph on task driven efforts and processes that will change- what skills will you need on your team

Team member- paragraph on the relationship with your boss, what you are expected to know and do, how does your career field and skillset change

Leader- paragraph around creating a plan and vision and how you will get this new age team member to buy into your leadership and vision
Finally:
  • What new skills must you master? Gets it's own paragraph
  • What skills become less important? Gets it's own paragraph
