         <description><![CDATA[<p><sup>Each organ system has unique structures and roles that allow it to function independently to perform its primary tasks:</sup></p><p><br/></p><p><sup>Respiratory System – Responsible for oxygen intake and carbon dioxide removal through the lungs.</sup></p><p><sup>Digestive System – Breaks down food, absorbs nutrients, and eliminates waste.</sup></p><p><sup>Circulatory System – Transports oxygen, nutrients, hormones, and waste products via the blood.</sup></p><p><sup>Nervous System – Controls body functions by transmitting signals between the brain, spinal cord, and body.</sup></p><p><sup>Muscular System – Enables movement, maintains posture, and generates heat.</sup></p><p><sup>Despite their independent roles, these systems cannot sustain life on their own.</sup></p><p><sup>Organ systems interact closely to maintain homeostasis and overall well-being:</sup></p><p><sup>Respiratory and Circulatory Systems – The lungs supply oxygen to the blood, which the heart pumps to tissues, while the blood transports carbon dioxide back to the lungs for exhalation.</sup></p><p><sup>Digestive and Circulatory Systems – The digestive system extracts nutrients from food, which the circulatory system distributes to cells.</sup></p><p><sup>Nervous and Muscular Systems – The brain sends electrical signals through nerves to muscles, coordinating movement.</sup></p><p><sup>Urinary and Circulatory Systems – The kidneys filter waste from the blood, maintaining fluid and electrolyte balance.</sup></p><p><br/></p>]]></description>
