As more ice is melting, the more the ocean levels rise which could cause many major cities to eventually be underwater. The ice melting, is a result from the carbon dioxide being released into the air. The carbon dioxide warms the earth, causing the ice to melt. Many people have been speaking up for this and trying to get government officials and the president to make some change. Hurricane Harvey left Texas devastated. Leaving people stranded with nothing, not knowing if they would come back to a home or just a bunch of debris. Many activist have been speaking up and saying that we need to have less pollution to stop climate change.
