Kotler gave Pavel. I think a lot of times it's better to leave things to the reader's imagination because we already have pictures in our mind of what's going on or how characters look and act.

Instead, the author is allowing us to use our current knowledge along with Bruno's reaction to what happened to come up with our own interpretation of the event. Allowing the reader to use context clues and their imagination encourages the reader to pay more attention to the small details and even the lack of details.

Its up to the reader to determine how much discipline was put into it.
