2 questions comprehension:
-How did the hobbo help Ian with the strangers demanding him to give them his shoes?
-How did he manage to get the job with his interview to help poor people?
2 questions discussion:
-How would you have reacted if you were ordered t by strangers to give them your shoes?
-Would you work in a place to help the homeless?
Reaction:
At first I was scared that the book would just be stereotyped about the poor people but they did a good job showing the truth about them. I liked this book cause the characters seem realistic and I could see this happen in real life.

Connection:
I allways feel bad when I see poor people and I'm also a bit scared of them. When I see one I have all the same thoughts that Ian had.

2 questions comprehension:
-Why couldn't Ian sleep?
-Why did Ian start to talk to the homeless and stopped hiding himself?
2 questions discussion:
- Why do you think the other students in the class weren't happy when Ian talked about the Genocide?
-Would you be scared if you were at the same place has Jack during the genocide?
Reaction:
I dislike how the other students in the class reacted to Ian when he talked about the genocide. Many of the students responded ruddly and many seemed to not care about the genocide, or caring so much they dont want to know about it. I also was suprised but happy when Ian said he was talking to the other homeless, because it shows that he is trying to help and make a change.

Connection:
I can connect to the teacher, I have tried to talk about something important before but the people I talked to were barely listening or weren't interested in hearing more and I was still keeping my calm and explaining nicely just like the teacher.

I feel like we should have let racissim apart and help them.

Connection: I understand Ian a lot, because I am a lot like him. I like to know everything but sometimes it isnt healthy for me because I know so many details that my mind keeps thinking about the news and I'm having trouble concentrating.
