After bowling on the bowling team half my life, I learned the easiest way to get a strike is to throw the ball in the pocket, however sometimes throwing the ball in the pocket doesn’t work as well. In order to get the strike i want each time I move my feet and position the ball at a new angle and this creates a different curve for the ball creating the strike I desire. 

2. When I first started college I had a professor who assigned assignments based on her instructions. I did not read the instructions and due to this I failed my first quiz. Since I failed my first quiz I decided to read her instructions to see what I did wrong and I read the instructions each time after that. One major reflection I did back in school was book reports. My teachers would instruct the class to read a specific book and we would have to write about what we read to ensure we read the text. Book reports were great to me because it refreshes your mind on each chapter of the book to keep the pieces together.

2. I would say that looking back in the past at things I did that I know I should not have is a learning experience. Goals are a very important in life for me and I remember struggling trying to achieve some of them. One goal I struggled with in high school was my GPA. I didn’t do well my freshman year and I made a goal to raise my GPA before sophomore year. Needless to say I reached my goal GPA my senior year because it was so hard to get it back up. I did achieve my goal in the end. 

2. A current goal I have set is to graduate and become a successful business woman. I want to have my life in place. Throughout school I always wondered how the Pythagorean theorem or how many electrons were in a wave was going to help me in everyday life. I never once thought about those things when i was outside of school. I am still unsure how to do my taxes. We did not learn the basic tools to survive in the real world in school. We learned what was in the curriculum but it was only to get us as students to the next grade level. 

2. School also doesn’t teach about relationships. We didn’t learn how to interact with others. Some people don’t have those social skills they need to go about every day life. I believe social skills are very important to go through the day. I have always had group assignments in school. We would communicate on who would do what. We always cooperated with one another to make sure our group assignment was accurately and neatly complete. Group assignments weren’t as bad as people made it seem. I enjoyed them although I was shy at first. 

2. In my orchestra class we had a teacher as well as a student teacher. My teacher and our student teacher worked together to make class flow conductively as well as giving our student teacher better training for her class.
