We have successfully completed our October activity, “Who Inspires Me?” Students explored the idea of heroes and discussed inspiring people from around the world and the qualities that make them special. Working in groups, they researched their chosen heroes on the internet, found and printed relevant photographs, and prepared colourful posters. Each group then presented their chosen hero to their classmates, sharing information about their achievements, inspiring qualities and contributions to the world. Through this activity, students developed their research, teamwork, communication and presentation skills while learning about different inspiring people and the values they represent.

Who inspires me?

Each student chose a person who inspires them. Then, they identified their qualities and brought photos or drawings of that person from home.

Then, the students introduce the chosen person to their classmates and explain who they are and why they chose them.

Our Grade 5 students took part in the activity “Who Inspires Me?”. They thought about the people who inspire them and wrote about their personal heroes. They shared why these people are special to them and what they can learn from them. Through this activity, students discovered that heroes can be found everywhere, in our families, our communities and the world around us. Every hero can teach us something important!
