         <description><![CDATA[<ol><li>Got a leaf from top and bottom of a plant.</li><li>Traced leaves on graph paper.</li><li>Found surface area of each leaf by counting the number of boxes covered on graph paper.</li><li>Put a thin strip of nail polish on the top of both the leaves.</li><li>Once the nail polish was dried, place a piece of tape on the nail polish.</li><li>Put the tape sticky side down on the slides.</li><li>Put bottom leaf slide in microscope on low power and medium power.</li><li>Observed the slide with just my eye then with the microscope.</li><li>Estimate how many open and closed stomata were on the slide.</li><li>Calculate stomatal density: Divide the number of stomata by the surface area of the leaf.</li><li>Repeat 7 through 10 for top leaf.</li></ol><div><br></div>]]></description>
