Dr. Diaz-Gomez has received multiple awards and honors for contributions to the Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM). These include four Presidential Citation Awards. He also represents the SCCM for the National Board of Echocardiography as a member of the Critical Care Echocardiography Writing Examination Committee and the upcoming Critical Care Echocardiography Council (CCEC) steering committee within the American Society of Echocardiography.
