Communism was trying to spread to other countries and the U.S. did everything in their power to stop them from trying to take over and dominate Capitalism.

1957 - Eisenhower Doctrine was announced:

The Eisenhower Doctrine’s impact affected Middle Europe by a large amount that didn't want to be involved with Communists. Communism tried spreading to other countries before, like Greece and France, the Eisenhower Doctrine focused more on the Middle Eastern, sending economic and military aid when in danger with the Communist party.

The citizens who lived in Western Berlin were struggling with an increase in their limited resources, they only had a certain amount of food and fuel that wouldn’t last them very long.

Our fear of Communism made us do the worst sentencing possible for the Rosenbergs, which is the death penalty by electric chair because they were “spreading American information about the Atomic Bomb and plotting against the U.S.”; our fear took over our decision and impacted it greatly.

The McCarthy Hearings’ impacted citizens that were terrified of communism and government officials because of the false evidence he used to do whatever it takes to get rid of Communist in the U.S. and the lack of evidence he had when he accused government officials. McCarthy accused government officials of being communist and this caused a hearing to let McCarthy share his evidence of government officials being communist, when he had no evidence of this he had all of his power taken away.

1950-1954 - The Second Red Scare/McCarthyism:

The Second Red Scare’s impact affected the entirety of the U.S. because of the false evidence McCarthy (a previous senate that had a hatred for Communism) provided as evidence that Communist roamed the U.S. McCarthyism became the start of a domino effect and caused a Second Red Scare, McCarthy’s scares caused people to point their fingers and accuse each other as communist, turning them in and ruining their career and reputation.

August 1945 - The Division of Both Koreas’:

The Divisions of Both Koreas’ impact affected the entire Korean peninsula because South Korea was being attacked by North Korea/the Communist Party. The division of both Koreas’ was supposed to be temporary until the both sides unified into one but it never ended up happening, they never had the same views and when North Korea tried to make South Korea have the same views, South Korea called in for back up from the U.S. and so did North Korea with China.

When the war was going to begin, North Korea aggressively tried to make South Korea have the same views on the types of government, so South Korea called in for back up from the U.S. and so did North Korea with China, marking the beginning of the war.
