In 1920 the Indian National Congress launched a movement of non-cooperation to boycott all aspects of the British rule. He opposed the policy and

resigned from the congress. During that time he

became the first governor general of Pakistan. In May of 1893 he passed the legal bar exam, making him one of the youngest man to pass the

bar exam.

Muhammad fought for the Pakistan rights, making sure all of the Muslims had the right to to practice in what they wanted freely. He believed that muslims had a culture, set of beliefs so different from Hindus that they couldn’t coexist.

He was trying to fight for Pakistan rights, and to make sure everyone felt safe to practice in what they believed in.

Was Jinnah a hero?

He is a hero.

An example is when he said “Think 100 times before

you take a decision, But once that decision is taken,

stand by it as one man.” He is saying that once you make a final decision stick to it for no matter what anybody else says. He also states that everyone

should be able to practice what they believe in a matter of safe issues no matter what country you live in.

Why would people disagree with him?

People might see what he is doing is a waste of time

because Pakistan during that time was going through a lot, Islamic people not being able to pray and still be safe in their own country. Also the violence the muslims were going through during that fighting hundreds of thousands died. I think he is hero because he is trying to make a difference in his own country starting to make

people feel safe by letting them pray wherever they want to. If the own people couldn’t help since they were all scared he made sure their voices were

heard. I feel like he should’ve had more experience with it because he didn't really accomplish that much

with him being a lawyer.

It relates to things we’ve talked about because what

Hitler was doing, Jinnah was trying to do the opposite like making sure the Islamic people had a part in what they believed in instead of saying they

were the world's problems and creating a huge genocide.

Jinnah’s father Jinnahbhai Poonja was a merchant and exporter of cotton, grain, wool and other goods. Jinnah was more focused playing outside and also doing his studies with his friends, his father wanted him to study mathematics but he didn’t really feel too much for it. When he was 11 years old his aunt

suggested that he should return back to Bombay,

later he was enrolled in Gokal Das Tej Primary

School, after the change he still managed to be on top of his studies, after six months he moved back to Karachi and when he got back to school he was expelled for cutting class to go horseback riding.
