Mandela was of course Nelson Mandela's wife, but with that, she refused to be known as just "Mandela's wife". Winnie Mandela made a name for herself with the help of her anti-apartheid beliefs and strong leadership. She of course influenced hundreds of individuals all across the world, especially people in South Africa, where she is from.
