Firstly, they can be used for research as well as study. Students can use them to download and store textbooks and curriculums. This can help students save time to find information and make their backpack lighter when going to school.
Secondly, many useful learning applications are designed to help learners boost their productivities in acquiring knowledge. For example, dictionary, spelling, translation, pronunciation apps can enable students to develop 4 skills in English. They can also share their in-app processes in learning English with their friends, create a competitive environment to push themselves better.
Lastly, modern electronic devices might be a good way for students to relax after a hard-working day. They can listen to music, play some games or read some comic books.
To conclude, electronic devices do more good than harm to students. I suggest teachers should allow the use of these devices in learning both inside and outside class.
