When I read the title My Virtual Dog it reminded me of before I got my dog Koda. I would always look up pictures of dogs and always think of how life would be with a dog.

When I read this poem the imagery for me was a girl like me looking at a dog. Also, virtually feeding it and giving it kisses.When I read this it made me feel happy. It made me feel happy because a girl is so in love with a dog online. I chose this poem because when I read it, it sounded so funny. I also liked how he used numbers and words to write the poem.

The poet titled the poem "1 H0P3 7H47 Y0U C4N R34D 7H15" because the poet, Kenn Nesbit,used numbers and words to create the poem. Probably, to also confuse the me on what he is trying to say.  The poet most likely used line 16 to show that the keyboard that he was using broke. I chose this poem because when I read it I could relate. I can relate because when my mom and I went to the store to buy my dog I was like I want this dog and that one also that one.

I think the theme of this poem is don't get more than you need. I think this because she got so many animals that she had to use a whole room as a litter box.Line 21 is an example of figurative language. It says "My sister went berzerko".  It doesn't actually her sister went berzerko.  When I read this poem I felt like was going to burst out in laughter. I think I felt like that because it was a 99 year old granny in the Olympics.

I think the form of this poem is humorous. I think it is a humorous poem because it is about a 99 year old grandma winning the Olympics in every sport. She wins against the best players in the sport! I think the theme of the poem is to always try your best.
