Although Germany held its advantage during the first part of the Spring Offensive, where its stormtroopers were able to break into British lines as well as capture France, it was unable to hold its advantage because it had used so many resources so early into the Offensive. Had the Spring Offensive on the Western Front succeeded, Germany may have had a stronger chance at winning the war.
