Reboots are something that I feel kind of conflicted about. It seems like nowadays there are almost no original ideas. Everything is a live-action remake or a sequel or a spin-off. It's gotten so boring seeing the same stuff over and over again. The X Files is my favorite show, but I didn't really like seasons 8 and 9 of the original series, and the continuation in 2016 was a little corny. Ryan Coogler is very talented so I'm interested to see what he does with the show. I'm just glad it's not going to be just a retelling of the original with different actors. I'm interested to see how they keep things fresh.

First draft helps you to simply externalize the idea. Second draft helps you to understand the material more. Although it comes from you, there's lots more to learn the more you edit and rewrite.
