Her house was in La Playa village, a riverine hamlet less than five minutes by car from the Hidrosogamoso dam, but she moved to Sabana de Torres after her husband couldn't fish anymore there. Now Martha sees the river from an app. It's called Attris and was created by the energy company- Isagen- to let fishers know when the waters will rise or fall according to the movement of the floodgates. Martha says she checks it occasionally, but she doesn't even go to the river anymore.
