For the last part of the initiation into the sorority, Millicent is put in a cellar, blindfolded, alone, and with an egg smashed on her head. 

In order to join the sorority, Millicent has to take orders from her "big sister" to show that she's committed enough to join. She can't talk back, show any emotion, or talk to any boys during the initiation. The sorority leader is talking to the new members about their roles on what to do. Shes also talking about hows shes the one in charge and anything that she says they have to obey it. Bev, the older sister in the sorority for Millicent, is the main antagonist. She makes her do mundane tasks like doing her chores.
