Congratulations, my first 4th grade class! You guys did it! It was a special year that I had you as my first year fourth grade student, I didn't get a chance to see each of you in person due to the pandemic online learning year. However, it was a pleasure to work with each of you on Zoom. We started the year with virtual "hello", and would like to send you a virtual "goodbye" with the attached video. Congrats class of 2025!! I am so happy that I got to be your Social Studies teacher for the past 2 years!! We have had many great experiences over the years and I loved seeing you get excited about Social Studies! One of my favorite memories was when we learned Civil War Battle Strategies (BLOCKADE---INVADE--DIVIDE!) and performed them in front of the class!!! Also watching clips of Hamilton together to learn about the Revolutionary War and trying on WW1 soldiers equipment in the library! I know you will grow and learn so much in high school! Don't forget the friends or memories you made here and I'm only ever an email away!

I can't believe you are all off to high school; it feels like you were just walking in as 7th graders. Looking back, it really was a joy to have been your 7th grade language teacher. You all brought the energy and enthusiam to everything that we did, whether it was reading novels or A Christmas Carol. There was never a class without laughs and food. 😆 Additionally, it was amazing to have coached some of you in volleyball. This allowed me to see you grow as an athlete and as a person.
