I have used these instruments with my family and friends to create many memories over the years, because music is a connective, transcendental force in my eyes, and they are just one example of how I express these view-points.

In terms of this video answering the question "what does music mean to me?" It means spending valuable time with family and friends. It means taking a much-needed load off and releasing emotions after a long day at work. And, for one thing, music as a whole has taught me more than I could ever give it credit for.

I also view it as an expressive emotional force, sculpted by not just feelings, but notes, sounds, and rhythm. In the words of the Barbie movie recently released, being a human can be very uncomfortable. In my eyes, music eases and heals the pain that comes with this experience. It can empower, help with depression and sadness, heighten the feelings of euphoria and happiness, and even bring people together. Certain notes can encourage emotions that may be needed to work through traumas. Music is what keeps me going and gives me purpose in this life. I am a singer/songwriter and sometimes I feel that my piano is my best friend. I enjoy talking to others from different cultures and discuss their music interests. It's universal whether you are singing or playing an instrument. Even without vocals, emotion can be translated through the music alone. The video I attached is a great example from the random people participating in playing to the spectators enjoying the music.
