Shmuel is really thin, he´s Bruno´s secret friend. He´s always very hungry and sad about what there happened in the concentration camps

Gretel (his sister)
She´s always kind of mean to her brother and they never agree with the decision of each other.

Maria (their Mate)
She´s kind to everybody and does everything what they wan´t. She never thinks bad about one in the family.

Pavel(their big black cook)
Pavel is weak because he lives in the concentration camp. When he´s with Bruno´s family he´s at least in a little bit higher position than the other Jewish the camp. He´s also very sad, because before the war he was doctor.

Mother is a kind Person. But she don´t really agree with the nazis idea and is actually not that happy that her husband does support them.

Although the story of the book was pretty sad!
