I can relate to Walnut because I also have had difficulty in certain things. For example, when I first started learning to speak another language (German) I wasn’t used to making the sounds. I felt weird trying to pronounce things. Then, the more I practiced and worked at it, I got better. Like Walnut, I had to prove myself. This is the end of my first post.

by abi i am answering question one and i have struggled with tasks but one i struggle with is speaking or doing anything in front of a crowd or an audience, or a lot of people in general. like public spaces. the reason for this is because I have social anxiety. its hard for me to stay on task because I am distracted. an example of this is in second grade I had to do a presentation and I was very nervous that I would mess up because I know I am not that good at it. this is how I can relate to walnut, because I also struggle with things.

I'm doing question 1, I had a situation that was difficult, like when I was about 6 or 5 I couldn't read at all, it was hard as I couldn't read much. I kept using excuses like "I don't know" or "I can't do it" when those weren't true. I could do it I just thought I couldn't. I did know, I was just scared of being wrong. And with practice you get better, it wasn't any different with me. I did learn how to read and I'm grateful I can now. By: Blair

I can relate to Walnut because when I first did softball it was really hard and I was struggling a lot. So this summer my dad pitched some softballs to me and a hit almost all of them and we played catch and it really helped. My name is Trent and I am answering question number one. I've had a lot of struggles in my life let me tell you one of them. Once upon a time little 8 year old Trent (I was about to turn nine) was having trouble hitting the baseball. I didn't hit it for four whole games. Then the fifth game came around. First pitch to me. I'm doing question 1 and one way I can relate to walnut is when I was in a really tough softball game(we went for 7 innings and its normally 4) and we were playing a really good team I was doing good when I was catching but when I when I was hitting since I was so hot and tired from wearing my catching gear in 90 degree weather I kept fouling the ball and struck out most of the time. I felt embarassed and awkward.
